Cabell County Schools uses a variety assessments to gather relevant data about student performance and progress to make instructional decisions that guides the learning process. Assessment is embedded in the learning. It is tightly interconnected with curriculum and instruction. As students and teachers work towards, the achievement of curriculum outcomes, assessment plays a constant role in informing instruction, guiding the student's next steps, and checking progress and acheivement.
