    • Registration for 6th Grade CLIMB opened today. Students can now register for the August 2-4 event for all four middle schools.

      Cabell County Schools is pleased to offer the Sixth Grade CLIMB Institute to all rising sixth grade students. To prepare the future sixth grade students for middle school, each middle school is inviting rising sixth grade students to attend a school-based CLIMB Institute. During this three-day session, in-coming sixth grade students will: •Rotate to core and elective courses; learn the layout of the school •Meet administration and team teachers and peers; begin building relationships •Engage in Team building activities •Meet important support staff (counselors, social workers) Transportation, breakfast, and lunch provided. Please note that only upcoming sixth grade students can attend this program. Registration dates are April 10, 2023 until July 26, 2023. 
      Upcoming sixth grades virtual students are also encouraged to attend their home school's CLIMB Institute. This will give them familiarity with the school as a whole and their extracurricular activities.
       
      Specific questions about each school's CLIMB event should be directed to that school.
