HEMS has started using the PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention System) Rewards program for encouraging and rewarding positive behavior!

PBIS Rewards is a point management system that allows teachers and staff to award students points for meeting our BEARS expectations throughout the day.

These points can be used later to redeem items from the school store, purchase entrance to special school events, and enter into raffles for a chance to win bigger prizes. Parents can also keep track of their student’s progress through the PBIS Rewards Parent app (see informational letter below for more details).

The goal of implementing PBIS Rewards is to promote a positive culture and an environment that students enjoy learning in.
