📣 Academy Day 2025
Did you know that an appointment to a U.S. Service Academy is a fully funded education valued at $240,000 to more than $400,000? These prestigious institutions open the door to outstanding careers and leadership opportunities — and our West Virginia students are proving they’re more than capable of meeting the challenge.
🎓 Last year, students from Berkeley, Cabell, Greenbrier, Harrison, Jefferson, Marion, Mercer, Morgan, Ohio, Putnam, Randolph, Wayne, and Wood counties received appointments to U.S. Service Academies and Preparatory Schools. Many accepted and began their journeys this summer!
Now it’s your turn to learn more. Join us for Academy Day 2025, open to all students, parents, guardians, and school officials interested in U.S. Service Academies and ROTC programs.
📍 Dates:
Saturday, September 27, 2025
Sunday, September 28, 2025
📍 What to Expect:
Information sessions on:
U.S. Air Force Academy
U.S. Coast Guard Academy
U.S. Merchant Marine Academy
U.S. Military Academy (West Point)
U.S. Naval Academy
Local ROTC program representatives to discuss scholarship opportunities
Mock interviews to help prepare applicants
Guidance from the Department of Defense’s Medical Examination Review Board
✅ No registration required — just show up ready to learn!
👉 Students considering Service Academies or ROTC are most successful when they begin preparing early with the right courses, activities, and support. We encourage all middle and high school students, along with their families, to attend.
