This coming school year marks his 17th year working in education, all of which have been at Barboursville Middle School. He has taught both English-Language Arts and Social Studies. He previously served as assistant principal at Barboursville Middle from 2016-2018. His education includes an Associate of Arts in Humanities, a Bachelor of Science in English and Social Studies Education, and two Masters of Art -- one in Library Media, and the other in Special Education. He also has a post-graduate certificate in Leadership Studies.
