Congratulations to Caitlyn Hodges, Guyandotte Elementary’s Teacher of the Month for September!

Mrs. Caitlyn is a fantastic collaborator who works closely with her fellow first-grade teacher and ECCAT to create a strong and supportive team. Her classroom is warm, cozy, and welcoming, helping her students feel comfortable, secure, and ready to learn.

Mrs. Caitlyn excels at establishing routines that allow students to work successfully and independently in groups while she provides focused instruction to a small group. This is especially evident during math and reading intervention times. She maintains a well-organized schedule, and her students consistently remain engaged in the meaningful learning activities outlined in her plans.

Mrs. Caitlyn also demonstrates tremendous dedication by traveling 45 minutes each way every day to serve the students of Guyandotte Elementary. Her collaboration, organization, effective instruction, and commitment to her students make her truly deserving of this recognition.

Congratulations, Mrs. Caitlyn! We are so thankful that you are part of the Guyandotte Elementary family!
