🌟 Lunch Plans for Thursday, November 6? We’ve got you covered! 🌟
This Thursday, November 6, we’re hosting a little fundraiser outside of our school — and we’d love your support!
The Post will be set up and serving up delicious food, drinks, and sweet treats — perfect for anyone who wants an easy (and yummy!) lunch that gives back in a big way. ❤️
By stopping by, you’re not only supporting our school, but also a local small business that continues to show up for our community time and time again.
✨ Come grab lunch, say hi, and help us make a difference — one bite at a time! ✨

Some students were given their Texas Roadhouse orders today. You can still pick up tomorrow before the PTA/LSIC meeting.
Also, it's not too late if you still want to order school pictures. See attached new code to order!

Please join us on Thursday, November 6 for our LSIC meeting at 4:00 p.m. and our PTA meeting at 4:30 p.m. Your Texas Roadhouse rolls, butter, and gift cards can also be picked up then. Thank you for all each of you do to make our school so great!

Hello Parents and Guardians,
We would like to inform you that the school will not be hosting holiday lunches this year. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure an adequate supply of turkey and related items necessary to hold the event.
Families are still welcome to join their students for lunch on any regular school day! Adult lunches are available for $5.00, or visitors may bring their own meal to enjoy with their scholar.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Thank you for your continued support of our school community.

We are excited for tomorrow!

The annual fall parade is Friday, October 31 . Scholars may dress up, but it's not required. At 12:30 p.m., scholars will begin parading outside. Grown ups are welcome to come watch the parade outside! Please reach out to your scholar's teacher with any specific questions.

Don't forget about Spirit/Red Ribbon Week October 27-October 31
Cookie dough is here and ready to pick up. A huge thank you to those of you who ordered!! We raised almost $5,000 that will go towards end of year trips and student incentives.

Mrs. Woomer, our counselor, will be at her other school today. If you would like Mrs. Woomer to contact you or if you would like to schedule a meeting with her, please fill out this form. Thank you!

📸 PICTURE DAY IS TOMORROW! 🎉
Please don’t panic… but yes, it's that time again.
Take a look at this rather dashing example photo attached.
We’d like to clarify:
That’s the principal.
Not a style recommendation.
(Unless your child enjoys faux pearls attached to the shirt, an amazing fresh cut, and velvet)
✨ So, dress your kids in whatever makes them feel confident and camera-ready — whether that’s a sparkly dress, a button-up shirt, or their favorite graphic tee (just maybe not pajamas… again).
See you (and their fabulous outfits) tomorrow!

Please join us for our monthly PTA meeting on Tuesday, October 7 at 4:30 p.m. in the media center at Davis Creek. Grab dinner at Chipotle at the mall afterwards. Chipotle will donate 25% of their sales from 4-8 on October 7 to our school!

Remember that our school store is now open! Get your orders in before October 15. Also, our Texas Roadhouse fundraiser is open until October 17. Thank you for all you do to support our school!

Order from the McDonald's app ALL DAY on Thursday, October 2 from the 29th Street location, and 10% of the sales will be given to Davis Creek Elementary! Curb your appetite while supporting our school!

Good News Club starts October 2!

On Wednesdays in October, we wear pink! Encourage your scholar to wear pink tomorrow and the rest of the Wednesdays in October! 💗

Don't forget to wear gold tomorrow, September 16th!

Plan ahead for our spirit weeks!

Your dinner plans are taken care of for Tuesday, September 9. Eat at Ruby Tuesday and our school will get back 15% of your bill!

As a reminder, there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 1st in observation of Labor Day. All schools and offices will be closed.

The District has changed service providers for our messaging system. We no longer have a callback number for families to retrieve messages they may have missed.
If you miss a message, you can retrieve it in the following ways:
your phone's voicemail or answering machine
text messages sent to your phone
email messages.
Content will frequently be shared all three ways so you can access it in the manner that best fits your communication needs.
