Huntington High School students, Giovanna Brunetti and Brianna Henderson were going through their closets to find clothing to donate to others when they became inspired to launch their own boutique. Brunetti and Henderson had completed the WV Ray of Hope Entrepreneur Program when they partnered with the non-profit to plan and open the ROH Resale Boutique, located at 137 W 8th Avenue in Huntington, WV. Ray of Hope established its ROH Resale Boutique program to provide entrepreneurial opportunities for high school students. The Huntington store, open to the public between 11:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. Friday through Sunday, is the WV Ray of Hope's first youth-developed business. The boutique offers clothing items priced at no more than $15 each and is operated by both students and community volunteers. The boutique accepts both clothing and monetary donations and proceeds are reinvested in the boutique and WV Ray of Hope youth leadership programs.
