Huntington Middle School's Volleyball Team was honored recently for winning the Team West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission Academic Achievement Award 22-23 during the pre-game ceremonies of the Class AAA Football game at Wheeling Island Stadium on December 3, 2022.

This statewide recognition program involves two types of awards given to a team or individuals. The school award presented to Huntington Middle is based on the computed overall grade point average for members of the volleyball team.
