Cabell County Schools will be wrapping up its Summer Food Service Program with the distribution of seven-day meal packs Friday, August 28, 2020 at all the district’s summer Grab-N-Go meal sites. Meals are available free to any enrolled Cabell County Schools student or any child 18 and under. There is no need to place an order to pick up meals Friday.
Not including the seven-day meal packs to be distributed on the 28th, the district has distributed approximately 1,085,791 meals since moving to an all-remote learning model last school year and during the summer break. Students in Cabell County have been served meals for every weekday since the last day of in-person instruction last March.
Online Ordering - Week One (1)

As the district transitions to its 2020-2021 school year meal program, an online meal ordering system is being implemented to assist schools with meal distribution. These first week instructions apply to all students, regardless of the learning model parents have selected.
- In anticipation of the first week of school, all parents should place four-day meal pack orders by Tuesday, September 1 at 12:00 PM (noon).

and look for the “Student Meal Request Form” link in the center of the page, You can also find the link under the “Students and Families” section of the website. You can also access the form directly at the following link:
Note: You will need your student identification number to place an order. These can be found on your student’s report card. If you cannot find it, please contact your school.
Four-day meal packs ordered by Tuesday, September 1 at 12:00 PM will be ready to be picked up at school locations Friday, September 4 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Virtual Learning Students
Meals will be provided for Virtual Learning students weekly.
- Beginning September 4, parents of Virtual Learning students should place their online orders for the next week’s multi-day meal packs each Friday by 12:00 PM (noon).
Multi-day meal packs ordered by Friday September 4 at 12:00 PM will be ready to be picked up at school locations Friday, September 11 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
If parents have students at multiple schools, they may opt to pick up meals at the most convenient school location.
Blended Learning Students
After week one, it is not necessary for parents of Blended Learning students to place meal orders online.
Meals will be provided for Blended Learning students weekly.
- For students with last names beginning with the letters A-K, meals will be sent home with the student each Tuesday.
- For students with last names beginning with the letters, L-Z meals will be sent home with the student each Friday.
Note: These meals are being provided to students for the three schools days that they will not be in the school building. Meals will be served to these students from the school cafeterias on the days they are physically present at school.
