Each year Rocky Meadows brings a message of hope and help to our school.
Rocky Meadows went to jail 38 times. He was a drug and alcohol addict. By the age of 14 he was an alcoholic and cocaine dealer. He spent 10 years in prison. He walked away from his children for 9 years. His life was a mess. He spoke of a change. He shared his experience with Crossroads Academy students. He told of a house he was able to purchase where he could teach others to turn from a life of addiction. He said that helping others makes his life so much better. He now helps people in 13 LifeHouses. He has beds for 140 people. He told the students they needed to respect themselves before they could respect others. He repeatedly expressed that our students could make their own choices - they did not have to go down the wrong road.
IF IT IS TO BE IT IS UP TO ME.
