CCCTC Announces HEERF
The Cabell County Career Technology Center (CCCTC) is pleased to announce that we have gained access to the Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF) authorized by Congress under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, an Economic Security (CARES) Act. The signed certificate and agreement was returned to the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) on August 12, 2020. CCCTC intends to use no less than 50% of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide emergency financial aid grants to students. CCCTC will receive a total of $80,310 from the USDE to distribute to eligible students.
CCCTC has determined that there are 56 full-time students and 2 part-time students eligible to receive this emergency HEERF funding. Upon receipt of the funds, CCCTC will disburse relief checks through the district office to each eligible student.
