Cabell County Schools is designated with a Green Color Code by the West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) for the week beginning Sunday, September 20, 2020. Cabell County Schools will continue to operate on the Blended and Virtual model schedules previously announced. Athletic and extracurricular activities will follow guidelines established by WVSSAC.
WVDE will announce the color code for each week by 5:00 PM Saturday evening. The latest code will be posted on this page and parents will be notified by phone call.

Special COVID-19 Investigations
September 17, 2020 - A Cabell Midland High School football player has tested positive and members of the team and coaches have been ordered to quarantine by the Cabell Huntington Health Department, as well as teachers and students from five classes the student attended Monday, September 14. Because Cabell Midland played Huntington High Friday, September 11, the Huntington High players have been sent home from school and all games and practices have been suspended while contact tracing takes place.
September 15, 2020 - A Milton Middle School student reported an exposure to an individual with COVID-19 outside of school. Through a joint investigation with the Health Department, it has been determined no students or staff members are affected by this student's exposure or presence at the school.
