The high school had been conducted in the Oley building, it was necessary to erect a building with should be constructed to meet the needs of the modern high school.
In 1904 the new high school was erected on 5th Avenue adjoining the Oley school called “Central High School”.
This school building had 3 floors and contained more that 20 rooms.
