About Barboursville High School
Barboursville High School was built in 1924. Several additions were added in the years following, 1949, 1952, 1957, 1963, 1965, 1972, 1975, 1976, 1981, and 1986.
Barboursville High School was consolidated with Milton High School to form Cabell Midland High School in the 1994-95 schoolyear.

Barboursville High taught 10-12 grades.
In 1955-56 there were 748 students enrolled.
In 1957-58 there were 827 students.
In 1960-61 there were 777 students.
Thisinformation was obtained from: “Directory Cabell County Public Schools”, 1955-1956 and 1957-1958 was a loan from John Hanna, Principal at Southside Elementary.

In 1980-81 school year there were 1248 students.
In 1981-82 school year there were 1194 students.

In 1984-85 school year there were 961 students.
In 1985-86 school year there were 925 students.
In 1986-87 school year there were 949 students.
In 1987-88 school year there were 937 students.
In 1988-89 school year there were 897 students.
