Summer Programs for Students

Just because Summer break has arrived, it doesn’t mean learning has stopped at Cabell County Schools. The following list highlights some of the many activities Cabell County students are participating in this summer.

June 4-14 - Senior Summer School, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM M-F, Huntington High and Cabell Midland High

June 4-19 - Central City Elementary Literature Camp, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM M-F

June 10-July 18 - Spring Hill Elementary “SummerBoost”, M-F

June 17-July 16 - Grades 6-8 Summer School, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM M-F, Huntington High and Cabell Midland High

June 17-July 16 - Grades 9-12 Summer School, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM M-F, Huntington High and Cabell Midland High

June 20 - West Virginia Day (All offices and schools closed for state holiday)

June 24-28 - Japanese Immersion Camp, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM M-F, Explorer Academy (Enrollment Full)

July 8-12 - CTE Summer Camp for Grades 5-6, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM M-F, Cabell County Career Technology Center (Enrollment Full)

July 15-19 - CTE Summer Camp for Grades 7-8, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM M-F, Cabell County Career Technology Center (Enrollment Full)

July 22-26 - Salt Rock Elementary Summer Literacy Camp, 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM M-F

August 14 - First Day for Students

August 15 - Summer Graduation Ceremony, 5:30 PM, Central Office Auditorium

Of course, Cabell County Schools will be offering free lunches at all of the weekday activities, and breakfast at some sites as well.
