A-F Grading Components

  • Achievement: Student proficiency in mathematics and English/language arts

  • Observed Growth: How much students grew (observed) academically during the school year

  • Adequate Growth: How much students are on track to be proficient within three years

  • Performance of the Lowest 25%: Measures the accelerated improvement of the lowest 25% of students in each school

  • High School Graduation Rates: High school are awarded points based on each school’s four- and five-year adjusted cohort graduation rates

  • College and Career Readiness: Students who have completed the four required courses in a CTE pathway.
